Not the existing political parties but the ‘two major parties’ are to blame

Can we no longer rely on existing political parties? The answer is “Yes.” The one to blame is not the established parties but the “two major party system” consisting of the Democratic Party of Japan and the Liberal Democratic Party.

US should stop developing new type of nuclear weapons

U.S. President Barack Obama proclaimed soon after he was elected that he would seek to achieve “a world free of nuclear weapons”. However, he is now putting forward a policy that allows the U.S. to keep possessing “safe, reliable, and efficient” nuclear weapons as long as nuclear weapons exist in the world.

Solve Senkaku issue through diplomatic negotiations: Shii talks with China’s ambassador

Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo held talks with Chinese Ambassador to Japan Cheng Yonghua at the Chinese Embassy in Tokyo and called for the need to solve the issue of the Senkaku Islands through calm and rational diplomatic negotiations.
