Leader of the nationalist “Sanseito” party Kamiya Sohei posted on his X account on September 23 that he met with Tino Chrupalla, a co-leader of the far-right party “Alternative for Germany (AfD),”during his stay in Berlin, Germany, to build international ties with the AfD.
This indicates that the Sanseito is strengthening its relationship with the overseas rightwing extremist party in Germany.
According to Kamiya, they had a two-and-a-half-hour meeting and dinner. He explained Sanseito’s political views, including its anti-immigration policy, to about 20 AfD parliamentarians.
Last August, Kamiya held talks with Chrupalla in Japan for the first time where he also explained his party’s policy of restricting foreign migrants from entry.
