JCP Standing Executive Committee issues statement on Upper House election results

The Japanese Communist Party Standing Executive Committee issued a statement on the results of the July 21 House of Councilors election.

Prime Minister Abe Shinzo on the day after the July 21 House of Councilors election expressed his intent to restore a two-third majority in the chamber in order to realize his ambition to adversely revise the pacifist Constitution.
