JCP 5th CC Plenum calls for strengthening JCP activities to achieve major advance in approaching Upper House election

The JCP major political goal in the July Upper House election will be to obtain more than 6.5 million votes in order to win the victory of all 5 candidates in the nationwide proportional representation bloc and secure seats in Tokyo and other constituencies.

JCP decides not to field candidates in 12 of 32 single-seat constituencies in July Upper House election

The JCP decided to refrain from fielding candidates in 12 constituencies, including constituencies in the prefectures of Aomori, Nagano, Ehime, and Okinawa, among the 32 single-seat constituencies in the House of Councilors election.
