May Day rallies call for constitutional revision and for working hour deregulation to be blocked

Braving the cold spring rain, 8,000 workers, mostly affiliated with the National Confederation of Trade Unions (Zenroren), took part in the central May Day rally held at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo.

50K people’s call for protection of Constitution echoes throughout Tokyo Bay area

On the occasion of Constitution Day on May 3, events opposing constitutional revision took place across the country. Around 50,000 people from all walks of life gathered in a park in Tokyo’s bay area, and enjoyed a variety of activities.
